Top games to watch

Bristol City vs. Leicester City: Let's begin at Ashton Gate, where Bristol City will take on Leicester City. Although not as much for Bristol City, who are among the few middle-of-the-table teams that we can begin to believe are on the beach, this is already a huge game. Bristol City is having a similar season to last year in that they aren't really fighting for anything—they aren't fighting for promotion, relegation, or the play-offs. In fact, even if they win every game, they might not qualify for the playoffs, and even if they lose every game, they will probably still finish in the top half of the league. Leicester had a lot on the line and may have needed a brief international break.

Norwich City vs. Plymouth :

We'll chat about Norwich City as they play Plymouth, a team that is in the relegation zone. These play-off race versus relegation fight sides matchups are common. Plymouth doesn't seem good. For the past few weeks, they have been hiding in the middle of the table with a few more points than the teams below them, but with two losses in the next two games, they might very well find themselves in the bottom three. There are so many teams down there that it might just work out—it's almost like the proverbial "strength in numbers"—more teams are going to stay up than fall. Plymouth may only qualify as a survival situation, but they will get everything they need here. Norwich City is at home and looking excellent. Norwich City gives them a strong chance of making the playoffs because they simply look amazing going forward. They have some tough games ahead of them, but they should be better at home against a Plymouth team that isn't playing well, and they aren't playing well away from Plymouth either, though they have made some progress.
